Despite the summer temperatures on site, she decided on an autumn outfit. She wore loosely falling, dark red trousers from Loro Piana and combined them with a matching, short-cut coat.
Was Michelle Obama an inspiration?
Her choice of clothes is reminiscent of the outfit worn by ex-first lady Michelle Obama at the inauguration of US President Joe Biden (78) in January. Barack Obama’s wife (60) wore a similar combination of high-cut trousers and a long coat. Her outfit was tone on tone too.
