Michael Douglas celebrates his 77th birthday this Saturday (September 25th). But not only he can be celebrated on the day. Wife Catherine Zeta-Jones can also look forward to birthday wishes, she will be 52 years old. For the double birthday, Douglas speaks up – and celebrates his wife.
Commenting on an old photo of the couple, the actor wrote: “My first night with Catherine at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival. I found out that she had the same birthday as me – tadaah! Then when I discovered that she loved golf, I realized that all my fantasies had come true. ” He was just lucky during this time of his life. “I’m so impressed with your intelligence, sense of humor, and work ethic. Happy Birthday Catherine – I love you so much!” Douglas says lovingly to his wife.
Michael Douglas went all out with saying
After the fateful encounter at the Deauville Film Festival, Douglas went straight to the point: “I looked at her and said, ‘Catherine, I’ll be the father of your children,'” he said in 2016 on the Jonathan Ross Show. Despite the initial skepticism about the saying on her part, he was proven right: Son Dylan (21) was born three months before the wedding in 2000. Daughter Carys (18) was born in 2003.
