“This guitar was actually trashed in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 1989,” said Julien’s Auctions CEO, Martin Nolan. “In fact, it’s written on the guitar.”
The sale involves more than 1,500 lots that include items from Beyoncé, Prince Y Carrie Underwood.
Another outstanding product are the glasses of John Lennonit is estimated that they will sell for more than 80,000 dollars.
“John Lennon is identified as wearing those kind of round granny glasses, as he called them. And his photo matches a photograph taken by Ian McKellen for the book ‘The Lives of John Lennon’ – it also comes with that book”
Nolan said that since the pandemic there has been an increase in people wanting to own iconic objects.
“People are taking their money from intangible items or even real estate items that they have in their investment portfolio and are choosing to own something fresh, something they can relate to,” he said.
The sale will take place live at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York’s Times Square and online from November 11-13.
