The US actress Jennifer Aniston (53), best known for her role in the cult series “Friends”, mourns the loss of her father. John Aniston died on Friday at the age of 89, Jennifer Aniston said on Instagram.
“You were one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. I am so grateful that you were able to ascend to heaven in peace – and without pain,” Jennifer Aniston wrote. “I will love you to the end of time.”
John Aniston was born in Greece in 1933 and emigrated to the USA with his parents as a child, where he later became a successful actor himself – including in the TV series “Days of Our Lives”.
