He hadn’t managed to fold his ballot paper correctly so that his own little crosses were clearly visible. Actually, Laschet should have received a new ballot paper from the electoral board.

According to the federal election law, the 43-year-old has committed an administrative offense. It is forbidden to publish “results of voter surveys after voting on the content of the voting decision” before the polling stations are closed – and can be punished with a fine of up to 50,000 euros. Pocher must have realized that soon, because he deleted his post shortly afterwards.
