Donald Trump: He wants to run for the White House again

Donald Trump has announced his renewed candidacy for the US presidential election. He wants to run for the Republicans in 2024.

Donald Trump (76) announced on Tuesday evening (November 15) that he is seeking the Republican nomination for the US presidential nomination for the 2024 election. “To make America great and glorious again, tonight I announce my candidacy for President of the United States,” Trump told his supporters during an appearance at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Will Trump take on Biden?

He used his speech to praise his tenure as US President, which lasted from 2017 to 2021, and to badmouth the current administration. Trump would be only the second US president after Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) to be elected for two non-consecutive terms. A person can serve two terms as US President. The re-elected governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis (44), is considered Trump’s potential opponent in the Republican presidential candidacy.

Current US President Joe Biden (79) wants to make a final decision early next year on whether to run again for the Democrats. Trump lost the 2020 election to Biden but never officially acknowledged his defeat. He claims to have been deprived of victory by massive voter fraud. However, he never presented any evidence of this.
