The sequel to the superhero film “Black Panther” takes you to the underwater kingdom of Talokan. No problem for actress Lupita Nyong’o.
With dumbbells at the bottom of a pool, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o prepares for a scene in the new Black Panther movie. “I felt like a crab,” the 39-year-old captioned a clip she posted on Tiktok of her running across the pool floor with weights or crawling forward on her hands. The actress obviously has to hold her breath, only her eyes and nose are covered by a diving mask.
The Kenyan-Mexican actress embodies the spy Nakia in “Black Panther”, who visits an underwater kingdom in the second film, among other things. “Swimming down to Talokan wasn’t as easy as it looked!” Nyong’o clearly wrote alongside the short video. More than three million people had given their clip a like on Monday morning.
