Bruce Darnell speaks highly of his ex-jury colleague Dieter Bohlen in an interview.
Bruce Darnell (64) owes his TV career to Dieter Bohlen (67). In an interview with “Bild”, the long-standing jury member of “Das Supertalent” said: “I am incredibly grateful to him that he always believed in me. Without him, I would not have come so far on German TV.”
He and Bohlen are still in contact several times a week, says Darnell: “We are always there for one another and support one another.” Professionally, Darnell is currently on new paths: He has recently been promoting transparent aligners. A subject that he obviously knows a lot about.
According to his own statement, at some point he could no longer look at “Das Supertalent” because of the row of teeth in his lower jaw. “Maybe that is something that others do not even notice. I then went into treatment with invisible aligners because it was important to me personally.”
The next TV job has already been decided
But that doesn’t mean his TV career is over. He enjoys life day after day, Darell explained in the interview. “That’s why it’s impossible to say how long I’ll be doing TV. As long as I enjoy it and people want to see me, I’m of course very happy to be there.”
The next job is already certain: As ProSieben announced in mid-June, Darnell is returning to the station with his own program “Surprise Show”.
