The Modern Museum of Buenos Aires will receive next year the participants of the Annual Conference of CIMAM, the International Committee of Museums and Collections of Modern Art that brings together professionals from more than 80 countries. Just before the closing of the 54th Annual Conference in Palma de Mallorca, the director of the Modern Museum and member of the CIMAM Board of Directors, Victoria Noorthoorn, informed the directors of the world’s museums that in 2023 they will meet again in Buenos Aires. Aires. And he added then: “The city presents a vibrant artistic scene, Argentina, where a powerful artistic community unfolds that works in all disciplines and in which artists produce, create and invent new platforms for art, education and social action, always energetic despite the context of enormous fragility and economic vulnerability”.
