Lottery millionaire Chico reveals how much money he has already spent

After winning millions in the lottery, lucky guy Chico spends the money lavishly. Now he has revealed how much of it is already gone – and why he is not worried.

Ever since he won the lottery, Kürsat Yildirim, nicknamed Chico, has been swimming in the money. The trained crane worker suddenly has ten million euros in his account. Chico makes no secret of his sudden wealth – nor how much fun he enjoys spending the money. On Instagram he poses with fast and, above all, expensive cars, he told the “Bild” newspaper: “Everyone should know how rich I am.”

But how much of his money has Chico actually spent on his head – and how much is left? The lucky winner recently claimed to be much more economical with it than most people thought: “What’s gone is maybe 150,000 euros.” This caused mistrust, because in view of the expensive purchases, the amount should actually have been much higher.

Chico has already smashed 1.5 million euros on the head

Apparently he did that too, as Chico now admitted in a program on “Bild TV”. Together with presenter Janina Kirsch, he calculated his expenses down to the last detail. According to this, the Ferrari alone that Chico treated himself to after his win cost more than 700,000 euros. There is also a Porsche for 300,000 euros. The millionaire said he spent “about 36,000 euros” on a shopping spree in Amsterdam. And for Rolex watches another half a million was booked.

If you believe this calculation, which the lottery winner draws up himself, 1.5 million of the ten million euros are already gone – and that within a month. That would leave Chico with a good 8.5 million. “It has to be like this,” says the 42-year-old from Dortmund, who also put his expenses into perspective on the show: “These are all investments, I don’t lose anything.”

If Chico keeps throwing his money at this rate, there will soon be nothing left. However, he himself does not believe that his spending spree will continue for long: “I can’t buy a Ferrari every month.”
