They relaunch a program that benefits tourist towns

In the grounds of the measure, it was indicated that Resolution No. 67/2008 of the then Ministry of Tourism approved the program called “Tourist Towns”whose purpose is to “promote and encourage the development of activities and sustainable tourism ventures in small towns in the province of Buenos Aires, generating sources of decent employmentgenuine resources and favoring rooting”.

It was highlighted that the Program “seeks to value all those patrimonial and/or extra patrimonial resources existing in small towns and generate sustainable and sustainable tourism ventures where local people are the active protagonists of the process”-

In addition, it was stressed that for the public politics aimed at local tourism development are successful and sustainable over time“should take into account the territorial peculiarities (actors, dynamics, problems) and be guided by the principle of sustainability”
