The 2023 Goya Awards will be presented at a gala on February 11 at the FIBES Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions in Seville (Andalusia, south), and the presenters will be the actors Clara Lago and Antonio de la Torre.

The Goya de Honor will be received by director Carlos Saura, for being “one of the most outstanding directors of Spanish cinema in the last six decades”, with films such as “La caza”, “Cría cuervos” and “Carmen”, according to the academy.

Argentina, 1985 shortlisted to compete for the Oscars

“Argentina, 1985” was shortlisted by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Argentina to represent the country in the race to get into the Oscar awards.
