Animal rights organization PETA has honored Harry Styles, Daisy Ridley and Nicola Peltz Beckham for their animal rights activism.
Every year, PETA presents the Libby Awards at the end of the year – recognizing stars and brands for their activism for animal rights. One of the prominent winners this year is Harry Styles (28), who received the award for “Best Viral Moment for Animals”.
A fan had the singer during a show in New York City. He responded by declaring, “I don’t eat meat!” Styles prevailed in this category against Kourtney (43) and Travis Barker (47), Jimmy Fallon (48) and Bella Hadid (26).
Also awarded to Daisy Ridley and Nicola Peltz Beckham
Actress Daisy Ridley, 30, received the award for Most Popular PETA Collaboration for a letter she wrote to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. In it, the Brit had called on the university to stop experiments on marmosets.
Nicola Peltz Beckham (27) was honored as a “Pawsome Adoption Advocate”. In October, she introduced her new dog, Lamb, and encouraged pet adoption. Also nominated were Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (51), Drew Barrymore (47) and Janel Parrish (34).
