FDP politician Wolfgang Kubicki (69) cannot take part in the first exploratory meeting after the federal election (September 26th) because he had to undergo a “necessary surgical procedure”. “I had surgery because of white skin cancer,” he told the “Bild” newspaper. Therefore, he withdraws from the public for a week.

“The disease has been known for several months. The necessary surgical intervention was postponed immediately after the general election because of the election campaign,” a spokesman for Kubickis confirmed to the news agency spot on news. “After his short break, Mr. Kubicki will be fully operational again at the end of next week,” it also says.
