Lady Gaga’s dog sitter was brutally attacked last year. Another perpetrator has now been convicted.
Lady Gaga’s (36) dog sitter Ryan Fischer was seriously injured in a mugging in early 2021. One of the perpetrators has now been sentenced to 21 years in prison, the Los Angeles County Attorney’s Office said on Monday (December 5). The accused was held responsible for committing a “cold-hearted act of violence” and the verdict “ensures justice for our victim”. The perpetrator previously pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
Missing dogs turned up again
During the attack, two of Lady Gaga’s three French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were kidnapped, probably with the aim of selling the valuable breeding dogs. The perpetrators shot Fischer and seriously injured him. A little later, the missing dogs reappeared. The dog sitter was hospitalized for several weeks following the February incident.
At the end of April 2021, a total of five suspects were charged with charges including attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and second-degree robbery. One of the suspects, believed to be an accomplice to the main perpetrators, is the woman who turned the animals over to police as the “finder” two days after the theft. Another perpetrator was sentenced to four years in prison earlier this year pending further trial.
