What a surprise for “Friends” fans: Courteney Cox helped out this week as a barista at the “Central Perk”, the café from the series.
In “Friends” it was Jennifer Aniston (52), alias Rachel, who temporarily served in the “Central Perk”. In real life, Monica actress Courteney Cox (57, “Scream 4”) paid a surprise visit to the legendary coffee house from the series – and in short, to the delight of the visitors, worked as a barista.
The actress is currently filming her new series “Shining Vale” on the premises of the Warner Bros. film studio, where the café is located. who sums up her working day and commented on it with the words: “If I am not acting …”
“I have to do my other shift”
In the clip she asks someone on set “When is my next scene?” and promptly receives the answer: “In an hour.” “Ok, I have to do my other shift,” says Cox and can then be seen, among other things, in the “Central Perk” as a waitress and at the entrance gate of the film studio, where she hands a visitor an entry pass.
The actress, who comes from the US state of Alabama, became internationally known in the mid-1990s with the cult series “Friends”, in which she played Monica Geller between 1994 and 2004.
