Bruce and Emma Willis, Toni Garrn, Peter Gabriel and Toni Rosberg designed teddy bears for a good cause. The specimens were auctioned off at a charity auction by the Swabian toy manufacturer Steiff.
According to the company, 56,470 euros were collected. Margarete Steiff GmbH (Giengen an der Brenz) donated the auction proceeds to the United Nations Children’s Fund.
16 bears were on offer. They were not only designed by celebrities, but also by companies and institutions; also from FC Bayern Munich. Bruce and Emma Willis’ bear was the most popular, followed by the Frida Kahlo Corporation bear and Karolína Kurková, it was said.
