MADA PATISSERIE

Pastry chef Juliana Herrera Dappe from Mada Patisserie presents artisan products to share or give away during Christmas and New Year. On this occasion, she offers a box of cookies with colorful Christmas designs in chocolate or vanilla flavors (box of 6 units for $2,700 and 12 for $5,400); some exquisite gold and green macarons, filled with white chocolate and pistachios (8u for $3,600 and 12u for $5,400); and a classic English pudding with nuts, chocolate chips and orange peels ($3,500). She also prepared “Christmas Boxes” in three sizes that are ideal as gifts or to be displayed at the family table. The Box Chico brings a ¼ kg sweet bread of your choice and four Christmas cookies ($3,900); the Medium Box consists of a 1 kg sweet bread of your choice, an English pudding, an almond biscotti, 6 Christmas cookies and 12 macarons ($13,500) and the Large Box brings a 1 kg sweet bread of your choice, an English pudding, an almond biscotti, 8 Christmas cookies and 12 macarons ($18,500).

WAGE

Known in Saavedra for its exquisite sourdough bakery and its Deli Gourmet proposal, Jornal devised for the holidays a potpourri of artisan products (salty and sweet) to take away individually or in pre-assembled combos.

They propose the “Box Dinner”, a variety of small plates to gather at the center of the table and share. The options are: 200gr classic hummus, 200gr pear chutney, and 200gr marinated aubergines to accompany with baguette toast, European cookies and talitas; 6 humita and spinach empanadas; a potato omelette; 200g Russian salad; vitel toné of 300gr; chicken roll (with mushrooms, peas, onion, carrot, raisins, ham and cheese) 300gr; 1 piece of baked rump steak (stuffed with bacon, onion, bell pepper and tybo cheese) at a special price of $23,900.

While to assemble the sweet table they propose two combos, “Box 1” includes: 1 stollen, spiced German bread with almond marzipan; 1 English pudding with nuts and raisins soaked in brandy cherry; 1 Welsh cake, moist and spiced with raisins macerated in whiskey of 350g; raisins dipped in milk chocolate, covered with cocoa and powdered sugar; toasted almonds with milk chocolate bath and cocoa coating; caramelized cashew nuts; and peanut caramels. And of course, you could not miss the sweet bread that they make based on sourdough with hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, raisins and oranges macerated in 250gr rum. The drink includes a 750cc Norton Chosen Demi Sec sparkling wine, all at a promotional price of $8,690. In “Box 2” the sweet bread comes in a 500gr presentation and the selected wine is a 750cc Norton Sexy Fish Blanc de Blancs, all at $9,950.

Ninina, the restaurant that combines the excellence of the simple and artisanal, proposes its options for the Christmas holidays: homemade nougat made with organic sugar, organic honey, free-range eggs and toasted almonds (120gr for $2,200); 70% cocoa chocolate truffles, filled with hazelnuts and hazelnut paste (5u for $2,400); truffles with orange (5u for $2,400); sweet bread with 70% cocoa chocolate, pistachios and glazed oranges (700gr for $5,800); and sweet bread with white chocolate, cranberries, hazelnuts and toasted almonds (700gr for $5,800). They also have a special “Party Kit” that includes a sweet bread of your choice, an almond nougat, a box of truffles and a bottle of Escorihuela Gascón Extra Brut sparkling wine ($12,000). It should be noted that Ninina’s products are handcrafted with quality organic raw materials, without additives or preservatives. Orders can be placed until November 22 or while stocks last. Deliveries will be made from December 8. The local has shipments throughout CABA and GBA.

MOSHU

Moshu, one of the most prominent Café & Deli in the city, says that it is present at Christmas tables with the queen of the house: its Red Velvet in a special “Christmas” edition with red fruits spiced in cinnamon syrup, cloves, anise, allspice, nutmeg and a decoration of fresh rosemary. It can be ordered as an individual ingot, a four-portion cake, or an XL cake of 10 to 12 portions. To complete the sweet banquet, they will offer two varieties of traditional cookies: a gingerbread cookie, cinnamon and mascabo sugar with icing in the shape of a Christmas stocking or gingerbread man; and a vanilla cookie decorated in the shape of a Christmas tree. And to top it all off, they will have two varieties of sweet bread made at their local sister Jornal, which they make from sourdough with Belgian chocolate and candied oranges (500gr for $3,400 and 250gr for $1,900) or with nuts, raisins and oranges macerated in rum (500gr for $4,800 and 250gr for $2,300).

GONTRAN CHERRIER

The French boulangerie & patisserie Gontran Cherrier will offer a Box Noël through its virtual store to share at the family table or give away during the holidays. The box includes a 500g levain bread, a 300g Morbier cheese, a 500g panettone, three pistachio macarons, three raspberry macarons, a pistachio and raspberry pudding, 8 spice cookies, a La Simona nougat and sweet caramelized ( $12,500). In addition, from December 23 to 31 they will offer the original Bûche de Noël to pick up exclusively at their Palermo location. It is a typical French dessert known as “Christmas log” that they make here with a semi-sweet chocolate sponge cake, croustillant, milk chocolate mousse, praline mousse, chocolate glaçage, milk chocolate chantilly and cocoa nibs ($6,400 ).

PEPPERMINT RESTAURANT

Hierbabuena Restaurant, the natural cooking space in San Telmo, adds to the festivities with sweet, totally organic preparations made based on traditional recipes. Both in the salon and in its organic market they will have the classic “gingerbread man” cookies, made with organic flour, organic sugar, ginger, cinnamon ($650 each); homemade butter made from organic peanut paste, honey and chocolate ($890); and 100-gram packages of caramelized nuts to complete the traditional Christmas flavors ($550).

DOLCE

The Dolce artisan ice cream parlor, located in front of the San Isidro Cathedral, presents new Christmas flavors to enjoy during the December festivities. Among its frozen creams, the classic butter (with pieces of peanuts and cocoa), the almond nougat ice cream, the exotic cider with red apple and the creme brulee ice cream shine. Any of them can be requested in presentations of 1 for $2,150, ½ for $1,300 or ¼ kilo for $750, cone for $750 or small and medium cup for $480 and $580 respectively. In turn, as an ideal option to share during the festivities, they add new frozen bars with a base of homemade sablée dough and two flavor varieties: cream ice cream with Speculoos Christmas cookies, white chocolate bath dyed green and red, and a Christmas stamp; and almond nougat ice cream with nuts and stuffed fruit plus a caramelized topping, any of them for $480 each.

CHUNGO

Chungo, the traditional artisan ice cream parlor, proposes two unmissable “Diamond” ice cream cakes, specially designed to crown the family table during the December season. These cylindrical desserts make 12 servings and have a minimalist design with “diamonds” on their surface. The Diamond Cookies is made up of American cream ice cream with pieces of filled chocolate cookies and artisanal dulce de leche sauce; while the Diamond Dulce de Leche has a base of Cucuruccino dulce de leche ice cream (made with artisanal dulce de leche, cream cheese and chocolate cookies) combined with pieces of chocolate cookies.
