Being chauffeured to the school door with the Lamborghini – for Rod Stewart’s son Alastair this is a horror performance.
Rock singer Rod Stewart (76) is not allowed to drive his son to school in the sports car. “Dad, you can’t drive me in the Lamborghini, you can’t do that,” 15-year-old Alastair told him, Sir Rod told the British radio station Magic Radio.
The younger son Aiden, on the other hand, loves it. “Dad, pick me up in the Ferrari or in the Lamborghini,” the ten-year-old always says. “He loves it, but the older one hates it.”
In the morning there is always a big mess, Stewart said in an interview with his wife Penny Lancaster, with whom he has been married since 2007. “There is chaos, they are never on time,” said the Briton of his youngest children. But even then, the 15-year-old refused to drive in the sports car. The singer («Sailing») has six other grown-up children from previous relationships.
Stewart plans to release his 31st album on November 12th. The title “The Tears of Hercules” (German: the tears of Hercules) is not an allusion to Elton John. Stewart emphasized that he only recently learned that the British pop star’s middle name is Hercules.
