The “GQ Men of the Year” awards will take place live again this year. And someone who can look forward to an award is comedian and podcaster Felix Lobrecht.
The comedian and podcaster Felix Lobrecht is one of the “Men of the Year” for the magazine “GQ”. The 32-year-old will therefore be honored at the magazine’s “Men of the Year” gala at the beginning of November.
Praise was “funny, but never superficial” and he never lost sight of “the social relevance and the big issues of our time”, said the style magazine published in Munich. Lobrecht, who grew up in the Berlin-Gropiusstadt high-rise estate, always presents himself authentically, “with a gold chain, designer shirt and luxury sneakers”. Together with Tommi Schmitt, who is of the same age, he runs the most popular German podcast, “Mixed Hack”.
The “GQ Men of the Year” awards will take place live in Berlin again in 2021, following the corona-related online award last year. Instead of a gala with around 1000 guests as it used to be, this time on November 4th there will be a gala dinner with around 150 invited guests from culture, fashion, entertainment, society, sport and politics.
The new moderator and successor to Barbara Schöneberger is Katrin Bauerfeind. The magazine «GQ» has many editions internationally, including in the USA, Great Britain, Mexico and China. In Germany, the “Men of the Year” are being honored for the 23rd time.
