Cathy Hummels is currently recovering from her divorce in Dubai. In a very personal post, the influencer reveals how much she suffered from the relationship with Mats Hummels.
Anyone who watched the RTL2 documentary about Cathy Hummels last year already got the impression that the woman from Munich was not doing well. She seemed sad, cried several times and kept talking about the hardships that the end of her relationship with footballer Mats Hummels had caused.

The influencer has now added to Instagram. Hummels made a very personal Instagram post from her holiday spot in Dubai. In it, she also touches on a sensitive topic that’s often raised in her comments column: her weight loss.
“I’m very happy that I’m getting better and better, especially physically. To be honest, there were days when I thought I wouldn’t wake up because I was so ‘broken’,” explains Hummels. “My weight kept going down and I sometimes had panic attacks because I was at a loss. But nothing stuck anymore. My head was so strong. It pushed everything away, but my body pulled the emergency brake, showed me: finally mourn and deal with this situation, or I don’t like it anymore,” she reports.

And she talks about the many comments from Internet users, some of which were well below the belt. “Many have NOT listened, but kept telling me how horrible I look. Short counter question: Do you really think I hadn’t seen that I didn’t look healthy anymore? But what should I do? I can’t escape from my body ” says Hummels. Today she believes that she suffered from “Broken Heart Syndrome”, a very real disease, as you can read here.
