Daniel Craig: Star Revealed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Shortly before the US theatrical release of “No Time to Die”, Bond star Daniel Craig was honored with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Two days before his last James Bond film “No Time to Die” hits US cinemas, British actor Daniel Craig (53) was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In the presence of Bond villain actor Rami Malek (40), the floor plaque was unveiled on Wednesday (October 6) in Los Angeles.

The official website of the Hollywood Walk of Fame had previously announced that the outgoing 007 star would be honored with the star number 2,704. In addition to Malek, the laudators for the ceremony also included the “Bond” makers Michael G. Wilson (79) and Barbara Broccoli (61).

“A British Culture Icon”

The reasons for the honor include: “Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as is James Bond, the man he portrayed in five 007 films.” They are thrilled to be able to place the star next to another Bond actor: Roger Moore (1927-2017).

The last Bond film with Craig, “No Time to Die”, premiered in London at the end of September and has been running in Germany since September 30th. The US launch will take place on October 8th.
