As a marketing offensive for his upcoming memoirs, Prince Harry answered questions in several interviews. Some statements are more than suspicious and it turns out that he doesn’t see it as his fault.
An absolute highlight set of the interviews was in conversation with the moderator Anderson Cooper for the American TV format “60 Minutes” on the CBS channel yesterday Sunday: Meghan and Prince Harry are open to apologizing if they made a mistake. But whenever they ask what they did wrong, nobody should tell them. The members of the British royal family are meant here.
Prince Harry also gave an interview to British broadcaster ITV and spoke to journalist Tom Bradby. Another appeared Monday, January 9 on ABC’s Good Morning America, starring Michael Strahan. He will also be part of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on January 10, also on CBS.

- He is close to tears several times in the interviews, his voice changes, he blinks
- As the Queen’s health deteriorated, all family members hopped on a plane to Scotland, Harry was reportedly not asked and had to make the journey himself, arriving much later

- He says that Camilla and Kate didn’t find it easy to be welcomed into the family by the press either, but it would be different for Meghan because of the color of her skin
- There is always talk of racism and that Meghan is not the classic stereotype: American actress, divorced, black roots
- Prince Charles is said to have not been a good single father
- Meghan and Kate didn’t like each other from the start
- Prince William told him it would be difficult for him to marry Meghan
- There was a physical altercation between Prince Harry and Prince William at Kensington Palace, where William is said to have attacked Harry, who fell to the ground and suffered injuries
- Prince William asked Harry to keep quiet about the incident, which he says he would have done if his wife Meghan hadn’t noticed an injury on his back shortly afterwards, and despite his promise, he revealed it to her

- He says clearly the conflict started with Prince William and Kate briefing the British press against Meghan to the point that they had no choice but to emigrate and leave the royal house
- He finds his behavior of sitting down in interviews, making documentaries and writing memoirs better than that of his family (he accuses them of regularly and secretly feeding information to the press). Reason: because he speaks himself and does not let the press say anything

The presenter Anderson Cooper also clearly asks Prince Harry why he and Meghan continue to bear the titles duke and duchess if they no longer want to have anything to do with the royal family. But Harry doesn’t really answer this question, he says “what does that change”, then talks about the press in general, he distracts, talks about something else. He doesn’t give a clear answer.
