Katrin Krautgartner, dietologist at the Schrding Clinic, gives tips so that in summer, sun and feasting in the garden or on the balcony there is no rude awakening with stomach pain.
Tips for light enjoyment
It is common knowledge that meat and sausages that are too fatty do not flatter the stomach. But the dietologist knows that some problems can be avoided even with clever seasoning. Marjoram, for example, supports the fat metabolism and can even relieve cramps. The yellow super spice turmeric, on the other hand, relieves bloating and can even prevent blooming.
However, it is better to use lean grilled food such as fish and poultry right from the start, recommends nutrition expert Krautgartner. Homemade sauces made from yoghurt and sour cream are preferable due to the lack of “hidden” fats. As far as the grilling itself is concerned, flavors from gas or electric grills are healthier than to prepare archaically over charcoal. Because dripping fat can enter into an alliance with undesirable health side effects with charcoal that is not fully heated.
No matter how hungry you are. It is worth waiting until the coals are white on the outside and therefore just really hot.
