The comedian Bembers was an institution in Franconia – now he suddenly died at the age of 56. He had already canceled all appearances in the autumn.

His management, the Linienbach agency, wrote in farewell: “We laughed, cried and celebrated so much together. We were so creative together. We hung around all night and then fell asleep together in the train compartment. Not only as BEMBERS are and were you Legend!”
Other companions and friends were also dismayed by his early death. Volker Heissmann, director of the theater “Comödie Fürth”, said “T-Online”: “Nobody has put things in a nutshell as straightforwardly and dryly as he has. It is very sad that he had to leave so early.”
Health problems
As early as September 2022, the comedian had canceled all appearances indefinitely. “I never thought that something like this could happen to me,” he explained on Facebook: “A few days ago my fuse blew out completely and my brain is only running on emergency power.”
He needed a break again, Bembers wrote at the time, and posted a video with the caption: “Love me till I’m me again.” Bembers has not been on stage since then. He has also not spoken to his Facebook page since this post.
