The supermodel’s agency later confirmed the message to several media outlets.

Shortly after becoming known, former colleagues, among others, contacted Patitz via social media to say goodbye. “An angel has left us,” wrote Eva Herzigova (49). Hearing about the model’s death was “the saddest news I could have imagined”. Herzigova misses Patitz very much.

The supermodels were in front of the camera for many photo shoots and often together backstage at fashion shows. Our thoughts are with her family and especially with Jonah. She will be missed immensely.” Patitz is best known for the photos taken by the late star photographer Peter Lindbergh (1944-2019). Moderator Frauke Ludowig (59) , to common pictures. The model was an “incredibly fascinating, cool, natural madness woman”. “We met so often. Talked, filmed, laughed, talked about pubescent children, sat at the hairdresser’s, shot a great advertising campaign, chatted through the night in Vienna. A few weeks ago we saw each other for the last time and now you’re gone. At 56. I can’t believe it.”
