“We were the babies in the fashion industry together and it feels like we grew up together,” Cindy Crawford recalls of the beginnings of their careers together. “We went through so many photo sessions and fashion shows together. She was always gentle, sensitive, kind, curious. And who could ever forget those piercing eyes.” She sends her condolences to the family and her son Jonah.

Claudia Schiffer also said goodbye. “It makes me so sad to hear that Tatjana passed away. And so warm when she let you into her heart.” She learned from her in real time how a woman of the world behaves and moves. “You were unforgettable and will always be in my heart.”
Great respect from the industry
“Tatjana was always the symbol of European chic,” recalls “Vogue” boss Anna Wintour at the magazine. “As if Romy Schneider and Monica Vitti would meet.” She is less in the limelight than her colleagues. “She was more mysterious, more mature, more unattainable. That had its own charm.”
The foundation of star photographer Peter Lindberg was also dismayed. “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Tatjana Patitz, a longtime friend of Peter,” the foundation of the photographer, who died in 2019, posted.
