Kevin Spacey pleaded not guilty to all seven counts in a British court on Friday.
Kevin Spacey, 63, has pleaded not guilty to all seven counts of alleged sexual assault in a UK court.
Spacey took part in the hearing via video call. The allegations relate to three counts of sexual harassment, three counts of sexual assault and one count of coercion to engage in sexual activity. All allegations were made by a single man and are said to have taken place between 2001 and 2004.
Twelve charges total
Spacey faces a total of 12 sexual assault charges in the UK. In July 2022, the actor pleaded not guilty to four counts of assault against three men between 2005 and 2013 in London’s Old Bailey Court. The cases are now expected to be heard in one trial. The verdict must be made by the end of July, reports “Deadline”. Between 2004 and 2015, Spacey was Artistic Director of London’s Old Vic Theatre.
In another case in the United States, the Hollywood star was able to claim a legal victory at the end of October last year. His fellow actor Anthony Rapp (51) had accused him of sexually molesting him in 1986 when Rapp was just 14 years old.
