Lisa Marie Presley (1968-2023), daughter of Priscilla (77) and Elvis Presley (1935-1977), died on Thursday (January 12) at the age of 54. According to a spokesman for her daughter Riley Keough (33), Lisa Marie Presley will be buried next to her late son Benjamin at Graceland.
“Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, alongside her beloved son Ben,” the statement said. Benjamin Keough committed suicide in 2020 at the age of 27. Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, is located in Memphis, Tennessee. Most of the Presley family is buried in the garden, including Elvis and his parents, Gladys and Vernon.
Last appearance at the Golden Globes
Lisa Marie Presley made her last appearance at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday. On Thursday morning, the musician was hospitalized because of a possible cardiac arrest. Her mother eventually announced her death. In her statement, Priscilla Presley said: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that our beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away.”
