Ragnhild Heck, the widow of TV legend Dieter Thomas Heck, has died at the age of 79. Dieter Thomas Heck married Ragnhild Möller in 1976. The couple have a daughter together. Heck’s first marriage to Edda Heckscher, which ended in divorce in 1974, has two sons. Heck himself died on August 23, 2018 at the age of 80 in a Berlin hospital of years of lung disease.
Born as Carl-Dieter Heckscher, Dieter Thomas Heck was one of the greatest German-speaking TV entertainers for decades. He moderated numerous shows, including “The golden tuning fork” or “Melodies for millions” and also played in many series and film productions, for example in “Praxis Bülowbogen” or in several “Tatort” editions. However, he gained his greatest fame as a moderator of the “ZDF hit parade” in the years 1969 to 1984.
