Marilyn Manson: Motion to dismiss has been denied

A sexual abuse lawsuit is pending against Marilyn Manson. A court has now denied his motion to dismiss.

Several women accuse Marilyn Manson (52) of sexual abuse. This also includes the “Games of Thrones” star Esmé Bianco (39). The actress filed a lawsuit against the shock rocker earlier this year. His attorney filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. A judge has now refused. So the lawsuit remains.

Manson is said to have abused Bianco physically, sexually, psychologically and emotionally several times between 2009 and 2013. As the US judge announced, the “unscrupulous acts” of Brian Hugh Warner – the real name of the musician – still had an impact on Esmé Bianco’s life years after the last contact between the two. These include, for example, the threat to their security, their immigration status and their careers.

Judgment is intended to encourage other victims to fight back

The judge ordered Manson to provide a formal response to each of the claims made in the lawsuit within 14 days. “I hope this ruling will encourage other survivors to seek justice themselves, while it signals to the perpetrators that they cannot silence the victims,” Esmé Bianco said in a statement.

According to the court documents, Manson is said to have “used drugs, violence and threats of violence on several occasions” “to coerce sexual acts (…)”. He allegedly administered drugs and deprived Bianco of sleep and food “in order to weaken her physically and mentally and to reduce her ability to resist him.”

Abuse Allegations: Evan Rachel Wood made the start

“Westworld” actress Evan Rachel Wood (34), who had been in a relationship with Manson for several years, got the ball rolling in February this year. Wood had claimed that Manson had “abused her terribly for years.” She was “brainwashed and manipulated into submission.”
