Born in Turin and a student of prominent names in classical music, such as Luciano Berio Y Karlheinz StockhausenEinaudi is one of the artists who has managed to cross the line between popular art and cult manifestations.
This is reflected in his work on soundtracks, such as the ones mentioned and the new versions of “The Untouchables” Y “Dr. Zhivago”which were compiled on the album “Cinema”; and the fact of being the classical music artist with the largest number of reproductions in history with his creations “A morning” Y “I will come”..
From that seat, he also recently faced a podcast titled “Experience: The Ludovico Einaudi Story” where he dialogues with different figures with whom he has worked throughout his career.
This artistic openness of the pianist was reflected in performances both in the most important opera houses in the world -among them, La Scala in Milan or the Sidney Opera House; as in concerts in pop arenas or in less conventional spaces such as the joint action carried out with Greenpeace, when in 2016 he offered a performance on board the Arctic Ocean.
