Model Jeremy Ruehlemann died at the age of 27. Designers, celebrity makeup artists and stylists mourn.

Model Jeremy Ruehlemann has died. He was 27 years old. US designer Christian Siriano (37) mourned him. He also shared a series of photos together as well as some of Ruehlemann’s unforgettable modeling moments. “I’ve never posted anything like this before but losing a friend who was such a wonderful soul is just really hard,” Siriano commented on the post. “This is for Jeremy, the wonderful man who gave so much love to everyone he met no matter what he did.” The post goes on to say that Ruehlemann was one of his “muses and always will be”. “He inspired me and I will always love him.”

“Sending all my love to his family and friends who have lost someone so special. I know we will meet again one day but right now I just want to hug him,” the fashion designer wrote. “Hush J, we all love you so much! Please send love to his family today.”

Ruehlemann’s cause of death was not disclosed.

Celebrity make-up artist Hung Vanngo also mourned Ruehlemann. He wrote about two pictures of the deceased model that he was “heartbroken at the news of the death of my dear friend Jeremy Ruehlemann”. He added, “He had such a huge impact on everyone he met. You meet a lot of people in this industry, but he was one of those people who, even if you only met him once, will always be a part of yours will be at heart. My team and I love and appreciate the time we worked with him. A true friend, you will be loved and remembered forever. RIP Jeremy”.

Stylist Luis Rodriguez posted snaps he took of Ruehlemann over the weekend and praised him as “a fabulous model and a sweet man”.

Ruehlemann walked several Siriano runways and has modeled for brands and designers including John Varvatos, Joseph Abboud, Superdry, Macy’s, Zara, Nick Graham and Atelier Cillian. He also appeared in GQ and Playhaus Magazine and collaborated with Perry Ellis.
