Daniel Craig parodies 24 blockbusters with James Corden

Daniel Craig played James Bond for 15 years. In the show by presenter James Cordon, he slipped into his most famous role again in a few minutes – and parodied other cinema classics.

With the James Bond film “No time to die” Daniel Craig says goodbye after 15 years as 007. That he can impersonate not only the secret agent, but also other movie heroes with a lot of commitment, Craig now proved at an appearance in the “Late Late Show” by James Corden. The two Brits parodied 24 blockbusters in around ten minutes.

Starting with the adventure strips “Jurassic Park” and “Indiana Jones” about classics like “The Godfather” and “King Kong” up to the “Avengers” everything was there. For the representation of “Grease” and “Pulp Fiction” Craig and Corden even unpacked their singing and dancing skills. When it comes to the biggest blockbusters of all time, of course you can too “Titanic” not missing. James Corden played Kate Winslet with a red wig and life jacket, who floats on a wooden door on the ocean, while Craig gave Leonardo DiCaprio, who clings to himself with the last of his strength and finally goes under.

With the films “Back to the Future” and “Thelma & Louise” the two even got support from the original actors Christopher Lloyd and Geena Davis. Even “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter” and “Lord of the Rings” Daniel Craig and James Corden addressed themselves in their sketch.

In the end there were – of course – the James Bond films. The series started with Craig’s debut in “Casino Royale”, followed by “Skyfall” and “Spectre” and finally the current film “No time to die”. Each time James Corden played the villain who was knocked out by Craig aka James Bond. “Come on, it’s your last Bond movie. Give someone else a chance”, said Corden at the end of the performance – and was knocked out again. Craig’s second Bond film was missing from the list “Quantum of consolation”. It is considered the weakest of the five Craig strips.

On the other hand, the 53-year-old is very proud of his farewell film. For him be “No time to die” the best of his five films and a worthy end to his career as 007, said Craig at the world premiere in London. In the United States, the film didn’t hit theaters until October 8th.
