Cecilia Asoro was chosen by the viewers from the jungle camp. In the interview she talks about how she deals with her exit.
Cecilia Asoro (26) was the fifth candidate to leave the jungle camp. Before her, Markus Mörl (63), Verena Kerth (41), Tessa Bergmeier (33) and Jana “Urkraft” Pallaske (43) packed their things. According to Asoro, he really wanted to make it far, but now the dream of the jungle crown is history. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, she explains how she deals with being thrown out, whether there could be a discussion with Tessa and how the legendary “Bolo lie” really arrived in the camp.
How are you now?
Cecilia Asoro: I’m fine now, I’ve arrived at the hotel. I am very happy that I can hug my girlfriend. I went straight to eat and swim.
They really wanted to go far. Are you very sad that it’s already over?
Asoro: Of course I’m sad that it’s over now. But in general I’m happy that I’ve come this far and was able to experience it all.
Why were you chosen out of all people?
Asoro: Unfortunately, the calls weren’t enough for me. But I’m not looking for the fault in myself. I couldn’t have done anything else. I was who I am and I’m glad I rocked everything the way I wanted to. In the end it wasn’t enough and I have to accept that.
The “Bolo lie” was a big topic on TV. Was the argument in the camp really that big?
Asoro: It was already an issue for us, but I didn’t think it would get that big. Gigi was very upset about this. But at some point the topic was off the table.
Which fellow camper will you miss the most?
Asoro: You could clearly see that Gigi was my bro at the camp, and of course I’ll miss him. But I do know that we will see each other again soon and hopefully our friendship will continue to be as strong.
Who do you think could become the jungle king or jungle queen?
Asoro: I really hope that Jolina, Gigi, Papis or Lucas will make it. Those were my top favourites.
What will you do first when you get home?
Asoro: I will definitely hug my mother and kiss my dog. And I will visit my loved ones. That will be the first. I need my loved ones around me immediately. I will talk to them about everything, tell them everything and just have a good time with them.
After the joint jungle test, there was a dispute with Tessa. Do you think there will be a discussion with her?
Asoro: I’ve already seen them here in the hotel, so we said “hello” and “bye”. When we meet again, I can well imagine that this topic will be brought up again. I can’t say yet what the communication will be like then. As has been seen, we have not been on the same terms.
You did a cover shoot for “Playboy” in front of the jungle camp. How was this experience for you?
Asoro: The “Playboy” shoot was the most beautiful shoot I’ve ever had. That’s where the most beautiful pictures were taken. I’m so proud to be on the cover of Playboy.
