After the corona-related cancellation last year, the 74th Cannes International Film Festival opened on Tuesday evening (July 6th). Four world stars surprised at the ceremony with a mixture of Korean, Spanish, English and French. On stage were the 2019 Oscar and Palme d’Or Bong Joon-ho (51, “Parasite”), Cannes veteran Pedro Almodóvar (71, “Sorrow and Glory”), jury president Spike Lee (64 , “BlacKkKlansman”) and the honorary laureate of the evening, Jodie Foster (58, “The Silence of the Lambs”).
