Today the Canadian is 55 years old and wants to take back power over the image that the world has of her. The reason for this is the series “Pam & Tommy” from 2021, which stars Hollywood actors Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as her ex-husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. The series (on Disney+) references the scandal that followed the theft and distribution of a video showing Anderson and Lee having sex.
Anderson was never consulted by the series’ producers or asked for permission to use her story, she told the industry publication “Variety”. “My life means more than a sex tape”says the actress, animal rights activist and author who does it with her novel “star” (2005) for example on the bestseller list “New York Times” managed.
The series, which has been nominated ten times for the TV Oscar Emmy, has them “ready”. To regain sovereignty over the narrative of her life, the mother of two sons, aged 25 and 26, returns with the film on Tuesday “pamela a Lovestory” back into the public domain on Netflix. Her autobiography was also published on this day “Love, Pamela” published by HarperCollins.
