Just a few weeks after being hospitalized for burns, US presenter Jay Leno had another serious accident. “I fell off my motorcycle just last week,” Leno told the Las Vegas Review Journal in an interview published Thursday.
“I have a broken collarbone. I have two broken ribs. I have two broken kneecaps,” the entertainer continued. But otherwise he’s fine, emphasized the 72-year-old.
The former late-night presenter was only treated in the hospital for burns in November. The TV star reportedly sustained the injuries in his garage in California. One of his vehicles suddenly caught fire. “I’m ok, just need a week or two to get back on my feet,” Leno said after the accident.
Leno is known as a passionate collector of cars and motorcycles. From 2015, his column “Jay Leno’s Garage” for the magazine “Popular Mechanics” became a TV show that Leno hosts. He is one of the most successful talk show hosts in the USA. Until 2014, the comedian led the popular “Tonight Show”.
