Prince Andrew is accused of molesting an underage American woman. The person concerned has filed a civil lawsuit against him. The British police do not want to investigate the case any further.
In the abuse scandal surrounding US millionaire Jeffrey Epstein, the London police are not investigating Queen’s son Prince Andrew (61). “For procedural reasons, officials of the Metropolitan Police have reviewed a document published in August 2021 as part of a US civil lawsuit,” the BBC quoted a police statement on Monday. “This review has been completed and we will not take any further action.” The London police chief Cressida Dick announced in August that she was investigating the abuse allegations made against Andrew by an American. “Nobody is above the law,” Dick had said.

Channel 4 had also given the police information that Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently in custody in the US, abducted and abused women and girls in the UK. The police also said that no further action would be taken in this case either. However, she stressed that she would continue to work with other law enforcement agencies in the Epstein case.
A woman accuses Prince Andrew of having abused her as a minor in London, among other places, and has filed a civil suit in the USA against the second youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II (95). Virginia Giuffre claims to have been made a sex slave by Epstein and Maxwell as adolescents. Prince Andrew has been criticized for years for his previous friendship with Epstein and has withdrawn from his royal duties. He strictly rejects the allegations. Epstein, who committed suicide in prison in 2019, is said to have brought dozens of girls and young women into his addiction and sexually abused and fed other men for years together with his ex-partner Maxwell.
