What is yawning for?
There are various hypothesis that were investigated around yawnbut there is one that stands out above the rest: the one that maintains that it fulfills a oxygenation mission. According to this theory, its function would not be to disconnect, but quite the opposite: get back into action. Scientists established that -when yawning- a large quantity of oxygenwhereupon the brain automatically he oxygenates and begins to attend.
It is also argued that if it were not for yawning, they would not reactivate certain muscle groups that allow you to perform the jaw movements. By yawning they would get fit. Likewise, it is said that it would serve to maintain the alertness.
