Wherever Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan appear together, cameras are not far away. The two regularly trigger a flurry of flashbulbs and a furor. And yet the son of King Charles III. in January to go through the promotional tour for his memoirs “Reserve” (English “Spare”) alone. Without his wife, Harry trotted around on talk shows and gave interviews.

The Sussexes were invited guests to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s second wedding. De Rossi had organized this for her wife, who was completely taken by surprise. Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, stepped in as the substitute pastor who married the two.
On the Ellen Show YouTube channel, thanks to a video, fans can become part of the intimate ceremony that took place at the couple’s home in Montecito. Lo and behold, Prince Harry is standing in the crowd, dressed in a dark suit and holding a drink (can be seen from 4:38 minutes). A little away from his wife Meghan, who enthusiastically cheers and hoots at the couple. The Sussexes and DeGeneres are neighbors, but it’s obvious the friendship goes beyond simple neighborhood ties.
The ceremony, with few guests watching, was disguised as a birthday celebration for Portia de Rossi. Ellen DeGeneres wore trainers and pants while her wife donned the same wedding dress she chose for their first marriage 15 years ago. “When I thought about what would make my birthday special, besides being with family and friends, it was to remind you that you are the most important thing in the world to me,” de Rossi said in her vows.
It remains to be seen when the public will next see Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. Whether the two will attend King Charles’ coronation in early May is still in the stars.
