The story will appear in the fifth installment of “Son of Kal-El” (Son of Kal-El), which will hit bookstores on November 9.

DC Comics described the new Superman in the text as “bisexual” and titled him “Jon Kent finds his identity.”

“Today, more and more people can identify with the most powerful superhero in comics,” said Tom Taylor, author of the series.

In the volume “Son of Kal-El”, Jon Kent fights against various social injustices, ranging from wildfires to protests against the deportation of refugees.

The coming out of the most famous American superhero comes as more and more books address diversity.
