At his birthday party, Richard “Mörtel” Lugner (89) proposed to his girlfriend Simone (39). explains the Austrian construction manager: “She is moving in with me now, but I can feel that she is really the right one this time.” It would be the sixth marriage for the 89-year-old. Most recently he was married to Cathy “Spatzi” Schmitz (31) from 2014 to 2016.
Faux pas with the application
His “bee”, as he calls Simone, declared after the engagement: “We neither wanted to get married nor have children. Then I said that I would like to get married. And now, to be honest, I can even imagine having children . ” It has not yet been determined when Lugner would like to step in front of the altar again.
