Now Cathy Hummels admitted in an interview that she actually had to give up the dog – he had previously attacked Ludwig.

Moon then gave her to a friend for a short time, but Ludwig was permanently disturbed by the attack: “He always said: Mom, Moon should go away, I’m afraid of her, she always hurts me.” Cathy Hummels also blamed herself because Ludwig was traumatized by the incident.

Particularly bad for Cathy Hummels: The dog should actually support Ludwig during the family crisis surrounding the separation of Mats and Cathy. Cathy had dealt with a similar situation so well when her parents separated, that her dog Billy helped her at the time. Ludwig now has to do without a dog as a friend for the time being, but Moon is still doing well: “My dear friend Tamara takes care of her lovingly. She has an eleven-year-old daughter. Moon now lives with them.”
