Moderator Gerhard Delling has a new love. As he reveals in an interview, he is in a relationship with the entrepreneur Christina Block.
“Yes, we are a couple”: The former ARD sports presenter Gerhard Delling (62) confirms his relationship with the Hamburg entrepreneur Christina Block (46). Both Delling and Block are divorced and each bring three daughters into the new blended family. Block also has another son. In a relationship, Delling values ”openness, clarity, self-confidence and of course love”.
“Everything else might be comfortable, but at some point you realize that it is not authentic,” the sports expert explains. Regarding his daughters, between the ages of 21 and 32, Delling notes: “I sometimes feel embarrassed about how proud I am of my three girls.” They are an integral part of his life and he always looks very carefully at what they are doing. Most of his attention goes to his children.
Delling and Block have a total of seven children
The sports journalist Delling was married to his colleague Isabelle Delling from 2003 to 2014. However, two of his daughters are from his first marriage. His new love is the daughter of “Block House” founder and company patriarch Eugen Block (80). The mother of four owns shares in her father’s empire and also started her own business with a small bistro chain.
