Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck, who married for the second time six months ago, apparently did not have the best mood. Ironically, when moderator Trevor Noah was sitting next to them, there was a small battle of words. Affleck, who has been looking grumpy all evening, was about to whisper something in J.Lo’s ear when she, very annoyed, jerked away from him and hissed at him. Viewers noticed that Affleck was very obviously not happy about attending the event. “Ben looks like he’d rather be at the dentist right now,” quipped one viewer. “Ben, blink if you’re ok,” quipped another. The amused fans were happy that the cameras kept shooting. “To those who keep tuning in to Ben Affleck looking more and more annoyed, thank you,” tweeted one Twitter user.
Observers had long suspected that there was a crunch between the celebrity couple. The couple, often referred to as “Bennifer”, had last quarreled at a film premiere, where Affleck had also felt visibly uncomfortable. His wife tried to counteract this impression with an Instagram post. “I always have the best time with my love my husband,” she captioned the photo. With the same scenery, however, a much less loving couple was captured.
