From “The Crown” to “Deadpool”: British star Emma Corrin (27) will play in the third part of the Marvel action comedy.
Ryan Reynolds (46), who played the anti-hero in the black and red costume in “Deadpool” (2016) and “Deadpool 2” (2018), welcomed Corrin to the “Deadpool family” on Twitter. “It’s a great honor to join this crazy family,” Corrin wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the star staring in mock horror at a small “Deadpool” figurine in her hand.
According to Variety, nothing has been officially announced about Corrin’s role in Deadpool 3. According to the industry newspaper, it should be a villain figure. Director Shawn Levy (“Night at the Museum”, “Free Guy”) was happy about the newcomer on Monday (local time) on Instagram. The project is now “getting better and better”.
Last September, Reynolds and Hugh Jackman (54) announced that the Wolverine actor would appear in “Deadpool 3” in a funny video together. Jackman last showed his claws in “Logan” (2017). Deadpool 3 is slated to hit theaters in September 2024.
Corrin portrayed the younger Lady Diana in the Netflix series “The Crown” about the life of the British royal family. Recent film appearances include the romantic drama My Policeman.
