“GNTM” winner Lou-Anne: This is her dream job next to modeling

Heidi Klum (49) is looking for the next top model for the 18th time this year. The new season “Germany’s next top model” begins on February 16 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben. The winner of the last season in 2022 was the Austrian Lou-Anne Gleißenebner-Teskey (19). She had two reasons to celebrate: her mother Martina (51) was by her side in the final. She made third place.

But mother and daughter not only shared the “GNTM” podium. They are currently working together on a makeover show for the Austrian broadcaster PULS 4. What to expect from it and what advice Lou-Anne would like to give to this year’s participants in “Germany’s next top model”, she revealed to the news agency spot on news in an interview .

Your victory at “GNTM” is almost a year ago – what do you like to look back on from this time?

Lou-Anne: There are no moments that I like to look back on the most. The whole journey will forever be a part of my life that I like to think about. In addition, “GNTM” was also the start of a new phase of life.

Is model life the way you imagined it?

Lou-Anne: Yes, it is. It’s varied and I get around a lot. Of course it’s tough too. Many women want to be models and so it is important to build your own brand.

They walked the runway for New York Fashion Week in 2022. A big dream for numerous models. How was that for you?

Lou-Anne: I loved it. It was my first time in New York and then I got to walk for a great designer. I’m working towards being able to run there more often.

Is there a modeling job that you still want to get hold of?

Lou-Anne: There’s no specific modeling job I’m working towards. My dream is to really break into different countries and that means modeling for many successful brands.

What did you learn about yourself during the time at “GNTM” and beyond?

Lou-Anne: Above all, I realized what it’s like to do something that gives you energy. I have realized which job is really the right one for me and that is modelling. No matter how tired I am, as soon as my job comes up, I’m back full and charged with energy. That’s what I think everyone should do in his or her job.

Together with your mother Martina, you are launching a streaming format for PULS 4 this year. What can viewers expect from it?

Lou-Anne: A show full of interesting people who all want to make a difference in their lives. My mom and I are there to support you.

How did the idea of ​​starting a show together alongside your modeling career come about?

Lou-Anne: We’ve had a lot of followers from our followers coming back to us for questions on a variety of topics and after getting a lot of questions we thought it would be interesting for a lot of people to do a show where these are exactly the issues at stake.

In addition to modeling, could you also imagine a career on TV like predecessors like Lena Gercke did?

Lou-Anne: In addition to modelling, I would also like to act in films after I noticed on “GNTM” that I really have talent for it and I enjoy it.

You had agreed with your mother that the winner of the show would invite the other to a mother-daughter vacation. Have you already been able to keep this promise and if so, where did it go?

Lou-Anne: We went to Heidi’s Halloween party together in New York, but we’re aiming for a longer vacation this year. There wasn’t much time for that last year.

The next “GNTM” season is already in the starting blocks. What tips would you give female candidates on their way?

Lou-Anne: Enjoy the time you have there, because no matter how life develops afterwards, you will never have a time like “GNTM” again. “GNTM” is something very unique. Go for it, have fun and don’t let others take it away from you – because nobody should forget: everyone wants to get as far as they can because in the end it’s still a competition.
