It’s a geographically large wetland which has 400 thousand hectares of complete nature. It has: natural ecosystems where species of native wild animals (many endangered) and an incalculable diversity of flora which can be observed in different activities. Visits: when is it recommended to go?

  • January to March: the water reaches its maximum flow due to the influence of Andean rains. It is time to take advantage of the nautical walks in the landfill area or in the Fortín La Soledad area.
  • from april to september: It is considered a good time for sailing.
  • From October to december: It is usually the period of greatest drought, which makes it possible to explore it in vehicles, on horseback or even on foot.

Access through Fortín La Soledad
