Pictures show The Beatles working on the new songs and envisioning a concept for the concert, which became an iconic moment in music history. Faced with an almost impossible deadline, there is disagreement and doubt among the band members as they compose some of the most iconic songs in the world.

The footage, which according to Disney never seen before, it’s from a documentary and television special planned for 1969 that never came to be. The nearly 60 hours of footage were shot over 21 days by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, who had previously directed The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. Jackson also had access to more than 150 hours of audio without listening.

“Jackson is the only person in 50 years who has been given access to this treasure of the Beatles,” he said. Disney in a statement, “all of which has now been brilliantly restored.”

The three-part series will come to Disney + on November 25, 26 and 27, 2021.

The documentary series presents, for the first time in its entirety, the concert on the roof of The Beatles on London’s Savile Row, as well as other classic songs and compositions featured on the band’s last two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.
